Harper's moon shot with only crowd noise

This is a family show so I won’t type what I want to type, I will simply quote the great Phil Rivers and say: ‘Dadgummit.’
I could not be more jealous of the fan footage from The Bell for these Phillies home games. That crowd is absolutely unhinged in a good way. Me watching these games after the Brewers pooped down their leg in the playoffs again:

We had it in 2011, we had it in 2018, but it feels like it’s been a century since I’ve been at a playoff game in a mob-scene like that.
Subplot to last night’s game: Orlando Arcia was apparently chirping Bryce Harper in the Braves’ locker room after their comeback in Game 2. I hadn’t heard anything about it until last night, but Arcia reportedly kept on saying, ‘Atta boy, Bryce! Atta boy, Bryce!’ as the team celebrated.
Well, that news got back to Bryce Harper, and he hit not one, but two home runs to Mars last night. And he stared down Arcia both times like Arcia was a 3-D art poster as he rounded second base:

Side note: BA is the best. But it twists the knife a bit more that the Brewers’ announcer is calling these moments. Might as well have Bernie ringing that damn Liberty Bell while you’re at it.
Anyhoo, memo to Orlando Arica: Might not want to chirp the biggest dog on the block. That’s like whispering about Omar on The Wire. Not a smart play.
And Bryce added insult to injury with this jab in the postgame:
Bryce Harper gotta be one of the last guys in the league you wanna give a reason to. pic.twitter.com/IiOL5wIYf8

I think I like Bryce Harper? Am I rooting for the Phillies?? Is that where I’m at??? Christ. I’m doubling down on the ‘all-in’ Brewer blog from yesterday. I need crowds like this back at Miller Park in October for many reasons, not the least of which is that I find myself becoming a mercenary Phillies-fan when the Brewer postseason run comes up short.
PS: 5 years ago today, we had a very ‘Bryce Harper’ moment at Miller Park:
You could not have convinced me in that moment that we weren’t going to the World Series. Dadgummit.
