This is really one of the most horrifying, yet awesome stories you will see.

A woman named Tina Fey recorded the video below at Pensacola Beach in Florida late last week.
This massive shark just washed up on the beach as people were swimming. After wildlife rescue and… pic.twitter.com/KHU7J18Oju
First things first:
The sea was angry that day my friends!
Anyway, LARGE amounts of respect to the guys that got in the mix here and helped this shark out. I consider myself a compassionate person when it comes to animals in distress, generally speaking if I can help in some way, I will. But one look at these chompers:

YIKES. I’m not ashamed to say I think I’d be on my way. There’s a SMALL chance (0%) that I would have tried to grab one of those back fins and help out initially, but the second this indiscriminate killing machine started thrashing around I’d be running a 4.2 40 yard dash down the beach with a dump in my pants. Not only did these guys stick around as this shark was trying to buck and juke his way back into the ocean, but it looks like they successfully got the job done by the end of it. Crazy.
The fish and sea otters this shark attacked later in the day: ‘Thanks guys!’
PS: It’s always hard to get into the brain of another animal, but based on half of a documentary I once watched, I think sharks are pretty smart. Do we think this shark knew these guys were trying to save his life? Like, hey, shark, let’s not try to kill the three people trying to help you out here. Ready, break.
Double PS: My favorite commentary on sharks/shark attacks and it’s not even close:
‘Stay out of the shark’s house. You go in the shark’s house, you gonna get ate up.’ Wise words from a wise woman.
