It's no secret the weather in the Wisconsin the last few weeks has been brutal. We've had three snowstorms, the latest dumping 15 inches on Monday, there have been winter storm warnings, winter weather advisories, wind chill advisories and warnings, they're talking historic cold the next 48 hours, the
Night King
is setting up shop, it's real grim. It's been so cold and snowy that even Wampa's are staying inside and watching The Office on Netflix*. I can't imagine what it's been like to work at a job where you're outdoors 80% of the time. Mail carriers, snow plow drivers, construction, farmers, etc., I'm sure it's been insufferable. The cold weather has also been impacting my wi-fi reliability in my blogging lair, but I realize not too many people are going to have sympathy for that so I'm not even going to bring it up. Credit to me for reading the room.
Anyway, in the middle of this poopstorm of winter weather, we've got a good deed of the day to report! Lomira High School's wrestling team has been spending time in their neighborhood helping residents shovel out of the storm. Pretty awesome! Also awesome is the efficiency that they attack this with. Perfectly formed lines, everyone has a role, crisp movements, focused on detail, great pad level, you can't ask for much more. They're like a NASCAR pit crew the way they dig folks out.
