Casey Bradley has been singled out to be the new City Administrator for Sheboygan in a direct referral resolution to the Finance and Personnel Committee. That organization will meet on Monday to formally submit the appointment for approval to a vote of the full Common Council when it meets on August 21st. The appointment, assuming approval, will become effective on October 23rd, and Bradley would take over the position vacated when Todd Wolf was fired without cause in January of this year.
Casey Bradley has been the City Administrator of Baraboo, Wisconsin since 2020. Prior to taking that position he served as Adams County, Wisconsin’s County Coordinator for three years, and before that was the Auditor and Chief Operating Officer of Stutsman County, North Dakota. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran holding two Master’s Degrees, one in public administration and the other in accounting and financial management.
The agreement reached with Bradley indicates that he will be given an annual salary of $160,992, along with $10,000 for “reasonable relocation expenses” within the first year of his employment. Bradley will need to reside within 15 miles of the corporate limits of the City in order to be eligible for that compensation; alternatively he could locate beyond that limit with Council approval.
