So about a month ago
we blogged
about a potentially *leaked* new Brewer logo. I did literally zero research or vetting to make sure the leaked logo was from a credible source, I was prepared to delete that blog when a completely different logo and color scheme was revealed, but luckily, I don't have to! It turns out that random Twitter user was correct! It just goes to show you, not doing your job pays off some of the time, and when it doesn't, you can always erase the mistake you made and ignore that it happened.
Little lesson for our younger readers.
Anyway, the new logo is essentially a sleeker version of the old fashione, 'ball in glove,' logo, with a color scheme a bit more rooted in the most recent look.
The new jerseys are FRESH as well. The pinstripes that people love look like they'll be in a more regular rotation. The road grays seem like a tip of the cap to these bad boys from the 80's:
And the new cream home jerseys are certainly an homage to the old Seattle Pilot look:
In summation, I would give the new look at A+, but I forgot, there's an A++.
PS: As with any new color scheme, or new logo, or new arena, when they make their debut, there will ALWAYS be people chirping about how awful they are and how much they hate them. If you go to the Brewer Facebook page it won't take you even two comments in to find them. If you don't like the new look, that's fine, just know, that I know, that we all know, that you have a dump in your pants.
