I realize that people come to this blog for thoughtful discourse on a variety of current/world events. Campaign finance reform, term limits, pro’s and con’s of a vaccine, why Back to the Future III is the best Back to the Future*, these are all topics that you’ve come to expect from this high-brow publication.
Well, I regret to inform our readers that, at the end of the day, I’m not really that deep. I’m a simple man. I like my steaks rare, my beer cold and domestic, and I laugh at things like the Hollywood sign being ‘vandalized’ to read Hollyboob. When I read the title of the story in this morning’s show prep, I couldn’t get off of the company wi-fi and on to Google images quickly enough. It delivered. If that makes me a rube, so be it.
Although I do have to admit, this isn’t my favorite all time sign snafu. It wasn’t vandalized like the Hollywood sign, but a year or two ago the ‘Titletown’ sign in Green Bay had a few lights out:
