A man is recovering from stab wounds today following an incident in Fond du Lac on Saturday and the suspect is in jail. Police there say they were called to the report of an attack around 2:45 Saturday afternoon. Arriving on 1st Street near Main Avenue along with Fond du Lac Fire & Rescue, they located a 50-year-old Fond du Lac man with a single stab wound to his arm. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening wound.
A suspect matching the caller’s description was quickly located in a nearby apartment building. The 48-year-old woman was taken into custody without further incident. She and the victim knew each other and had previously lived together.
The woman is now in jail on a Probation and Parole Hold, while Domestic charges of Disorderly Conduct while Armed with a Dangerous Weapon, Substantial Battery and 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety were referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
