Fine spring weather doesn’t last in Wisconsin, and that point will be plainly seen and felt within 48 hours in the Sheboygan area.
After reaching a sunny high of 58 degrees on Sunday, even milder highs in the mid-60s are forecast today as the sun sticks around and winds mostly keep the cold lake air away until a cold front passes. Temperatures dip into the 30s tonight, and recover only into the 40s on Tuesday.
A storm system passing to our south tomorrow night will be the focus of thunderstorms that could be strong here, while a marginal risk of severe weather exists to our south. Following substantial rain, cold air quickly follows, possibly leaving an inch or so of snow on roads for the Wednesday morning commute, and it may be accompanied by light freezing rain but with little or no ice accumulation.
Temperatures will be much more seasonable to follow with lows in the 20s and 30s and highs in the 40s, while another cold clipper system is expected late this week.
