Three people have been arrested following a chase that led Fond Du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies on a pursuit that lasted more than 17 miles.
According to reports, the incident began when deputies spotted a car driving erratically in Northbound Highway 41. The suspect fled a traffic stop, beginning the pursuit that led officers into Dodge County, where the suspect’s vehicle finally came to a stop after getting caught in a cable barrier. Upon inspection of the vehicle, a K-9 officer alerted officers to the presence of various illegal drugs and a rifle. Officers say the driver and 2 passengers were arrested without incident.
The 39-year-old Watertown man driving had 9 active arrest warrants for various charges, and had another 6 charges added to his collection. His two passengers were also issued three charges each and all are in the Fond du Lac County Jail.
