For decades, the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval” has been synonymous with quality for consumers, and now Sargento has earned that approval.
The Plymouth-based, family-owned cheese company has won the prestigious Good Housekeeping Kitchen Award for its recently launched Natural American Cheese Slices.
The product recently advanced to the quarter finals of the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest sponsored by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, and although it didn’t make it to the top tier there, it is now in the top tier nationwide among products recognized by Good Housekeeping.
Sargento’s Natural American Cheese is made with only five ingredients, as compared to nine or more found in most processed cheese you’ll find in the dairy case. According to the company, the product still delivers the melt, flavor, aroma, and texture consumers have come to know and love in American Cheese.
