Sheboygan Police needed special teams to end a standoff overnight. The Sheboygan Police Department along with the County’s Multi-Jurisdictional Enforcement Group was executing a search warrant as part of an overdose investigation when they encountered resistance from a 48-year-old Sheboygan man. He fled into the apartment, barricaded the door and refused to comply with commands to surrender.
The Emergency Response Team was called in after several hours, and they were eventually able to take the man into custody. Charges expected from the District Attorney’s Office include Recklessly Endangering Safety, multiple counts of Delivery of Fentanyl, and Obstructing.
