A Washington County Jail inmate who jumped from a high railing has died. The Sheriff’s Office reports that 28-year-old Nathan P. Rosas of Maple Grove, Minnesota, suffered the injuries after intentionally jumping from a top-tier railing in the adult pod on Tuesday evening.
Following immediate treatment on-site, Rosas was transported to the Froedtert Hospital ICU in Wauwatosa where he was placed on life support. He passed away later that night.
An independent investigation is now underway.
