What kind of improvements would you like to see at Plymouth City Park? That question will be the core of an open house scheduled for Wednesday at the Plymouth Fire Department Training Center at 128 Smith Street.
The 18-acre park on the city’s west side currently hosts an aquatic center, skate park, basketball, softball and volleyball, along with playground equipment, shelters and a band shell, and still offers plenty of space to enjoy a picnic or other outdoor activities.
The City of Plymouth is now evaluating and gathering proposals for pathway connections, renovations to the playground, skateboard modifications, pool expansion and other options. Your ideas will be gathered at the meeting from 5:30-6:30 PM Wednesday, then reviewed and refined, with final proposals presented at a later date.
