Spring cleanup may get all the glory, but at Wildwood Cemetery, fall is the time to get the grounds in shape. The City of Sheboygan owns the public grounds, and with over 25,000 graves to maintain, the Department of Public Works is asking lot owners to please remove all summer decorations and artificial flowers by October 15th in order to maintain the property’s beauty. Any items not removed by then will be disposed of by cemetery staff.
Crews will be conducting the fall maintenance until November 15th when new decorations may again be put up.
