A Sunday morning crash about 8 miles south of Oshkosh took the life of one person and injured two others. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a crash a little after 10:30 AM Sunday at the intersection of County Highway “Z” and Country Club Road to find the driver of one of the vehicles deceased at the scene, and at least one occupant with significant injuries. That person was flighted via ThedaStar Medical Helicopter for treatment. The other driver had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation and no names have yet been released.
