The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said that detours around Highway 28 repairs west of Highway 57 were removed last week, and with only guardrail work remaining, motorists should now find smooth travel on that route.
For Highway32 travelers, the DOT reports that the south detour between Highway “V” and Cedar Grove will be removed sometime this week, leaving only the north detour between “V” and Highway 28 at Sheboygan Falls in place. That will likely last until mid-November while resurfacing and culvert replacement operations continue.
Meanwhile, DOT crews have a little maintenance work to do along Highway 23 this week. Ditch work on 23 eastbound at County Highway “E” will take place today through Thursday until 4 PM each day. Watch for lane closures there, and be sure to give workers extra attention for safety.
