Two Green Bay residents have been booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail on numerous charges following a high speed chase Thursday night. A County Probationary Deputy and K9 handler contacted the two after their car pulled out in front of another, nearly causing a crash on Van Dyne Road and Main Street in Van Dyne.
Tinted windows, an obscured license plate and the smell of intoxicants tipped off the deputy to a problem, which only escalated as the vehicle left the scene going 130 miles an hour entering North Fond du Lac. Stop sticks succeeded in stopping the car after 5-3/4 miles.
The two, a 24-year-old woman and 36-year-old man, were booked on numerous charges. Both had active warrants related to previous drugs, theft and firearms charges.
