It’s softball season, and I love sitting beside the field cheering for my girls. The thing I don’t necessarily love is trying to plan dinners around game schedules. Ballpark food is not exactly on my plan. This is where Katrina comes in. I was able to talk with her about the challenges I was facing. First, game times are either 5:30-6:45 or 7:00-8:15pm. They have to arrive at the field half an hour before the game starts. I am currently on 10-hour days at work with Fridays off, so I work 7 to 5pm, so I run straight from work to the game and by the time we get home and cook it’s 8pm by the time dinner is ready. Needless to say by that time I’m so hungry! On nights when we have 7pm games I need to make something fast for dinner, which is also challenging at times, I resort to a lot of taco salads. Katrina was very helpful in finding me a list of things that I can eat on the go.

This has helped me greatly. Sometimes just having that thing to curb the hunger is exactly what I need to get me through a game and can help me get to that late dinner.
I’m down 20 pounds so far and I’m still feeling great. With these snack tips I have some more tools to keep me going.
