So the Brewer Hot Dog Club made it’s debut over the weekend at Am Fam Field. $60, 1 (ONE) free hot dog at every home game you attend, plus a pretty sick trucker hat that is a guaranteed conversation starter at any party it makes an appearance at.
This is all well and good, but I think Malibu Sands Mark missed the boat on what could have been an absolute home run. Instead of charging $60 bucks for one free hot dog at every home game you attend, charge $200 and let me eat as many hot dogs as I can eat at every home game I attend. Now THAT would a something. Imagine walking into Am Fam Field this year with a some kind of Glizzy Amex Card that gives you access to as many hot dogs as you want that night?? YES YES YES! Live look:
I won’t tell you want I had to google to achieve that gif result. But I want the record to show that if I die an untimely death today, my last Google search was BLOG RELATED and nothing else.
I did read some middling reviews from the first home series where the Hot Dog Club was available this past weekend. Apparently on Friday night, Hot Dog Club members were still being charged $1 tax. Then on Saturday, the tax was gone but Hot Dog Club members were reportedly getting inferior dogs (think Dollar Dog night hot dogs). Finally on Sunday it appears as though they got it all right, quality dogs with no tax.
It’s no secret that attendance has been down this year, and I think my Hot Dog Club Enhancement is just the trick to get those turnstiles moving again. This one’s free, Milwaukee Brewers Fan Relations. All I ask is that I get the first Black Card when you come to your senses.
PS: Not to pat myself on the back, but I did do the math, if you figure hot dogs are $8 a pop, you would need to go to about 8 games this season to get a slight return on this $60 investment.
Double PS: Second free idea: A Costco Vendor stand at Am Fam Field that sells their 1/4 pound hot dogs for $1.50 to people with Costco Member cards.
