A traffic stop by a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputy resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of drugs. The stop one week ago today happened when the Deputy noticed an equipment violation.
While being processed for that on the scene, the woman attempted to discard illegal narcotics that she’d concealed on her person. The Deputy didn’t miss the act and, upon searching the vehicle, more drugs and paraphernalia were found.
The search and seizure netted some 39 grams, or just under an ounce-and-a-half of crack cocaine, a small amount of a methamphetamine-heroin mixture, several alprazolam pills for which she didn’t have a prescription, along with a digital scale.
The 39-year-old woman from De Pere is now in the Fond du Lac County jail on a $30,000 cash bond, facing multiple charges including possession with intent to deliver and bail jumping. She was out on bond when stopped – the charges in Brown County were also related to illegal narcotics.
