Sheboygan’s Above and Beyond Children’s Museum has a new Director of Operations. Allie Tasche has been chosen to run operations at the museum she grew to enjoy as a child in the 1990’s.
Upon her appointment, Tasche said that she was “…excited and honored to build bridges across the community and make sure every child who walks through our doors feels the power of play.”
Tasche said she found her passion for disability inclusion while growing up in Sheboygan, which guided her to a job as both a Special Ed Teacher, and Autism and Inclusion Coach in the Oconomowoc Area School District. Upon moving back with her family to Sheboygan in 2019, Tasche went to work in the Sheboygan Area School District supporting districtwide special education programming. She then earned her Master’s Degree in Leadership and Organization and joined the Autism Society of America leading national initiatives in education and training, public safety, employment, and health.
Besides now being Director of Operations at Above and Beyond, Tasche is also a nationally-recognized leader and speaker, and currently serves on the SASD Board, which she was appointed to last September.
