A person found deceased outside of their vehicle in Fond du Lac County appears to have suffered a medical emergency after leaving the road.
A Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Highway 23 and Willow Road in the Town of Ripon just before 7 a.m. on Monday where they spotted a vehicle in the ditch adjacent to a residential driveway. The vehicle is registered to that address and belonged to the person found deceased outside of their car.
The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to investigate, and preliminary results indicate that the death was the result of a medical incident that was not related to the vehicle leaving the roadway and entering the ditch. The investigation continues, but no foul play is suspected.
