Fire damaged a town of Lyndon home on Friday night. The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Department received the 911 call shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday. The call came from the owner of the house, who explained that there were flames on the roof and no one was in the residence.
The emergency call drew responses from the Sheriff as well as fire departments from Cascade, Waldo, Plymouth, Oostburg, Beechwood, the Town of Sheboygan Falls, Glenbeulah, Random Lake, Elkhart Lake, Greenbush and Silver Creek, as well as from Orange Cross Ambulance and Cascade First Responders, the Fire Investigation Team, WE Energies and TNT Excavating.
There was no estimate on the extent or dollar amount of damage and no cause was immediately reported. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire or operations to extinguish it.
