A former Kewaskum school resource officer is awaiting a possible court date in jail. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Captain Chris Randall made the announcement of possible charges against Steven Rosales in a news release on Tuesday. The release revealed that Rosales was taken into custody on Monday on three counts of Bestiality. Those charges are in the hands of the Fond du Lac County District Attorney for formal review.
A facebook page of the Kewaskum Police Department indicates that Rosales was hired as the school resource officer in September of 2022, five years into his stay with that department. Last week Rosales was charged in Washington County with exchanging thousands of explicit text messages with a female student at Kewaskum High School. The Bestiality charges in Fond du Lac County stem from a witness who reported receiving graphic texts from Rosales referring to relations he claimed he had with his dog. He is scheduled to be arraigned on those charges in court today.
