A 26-year-old Sheboygan Falls man had to be airlifted from the scene of an accident on Wednesday night.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said that the crash happened around 10 p.m. when the man, who was cited for being under the influence, was apparently speeding on Highway 67 westbound in the Town of Mitchell when his car left the road near County Highway”U” west of Parnell Tower.
The Sheriff said that when it left the road, the car went airborne and then struck a tree, trapping the driver. He had to be cut from the vehicle before being airlifted for treatment to Theda Care in Neenah. His condition was not made available.
