The Sheboygan Police Department says nobody was injured in a gunfire incident on Monday night. They were called to a home in the 1000 block of Superior Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. after receiving reports of the sounds of several gunshots and people screaming.
A person who lives there confirmed with officers that there was an exchange of gunfire between them and two male adults that had entered the home. Evidence found on the scene confirmed that several shots were fired, but nobody was struck and there were no injuries.
Police did not indicate whether anyone was taken into custody, but said they are still investigating the incident and requesting that anyone with more information contact them. They added that the parties knew each other and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
