LET’S GOOOOOOOOOO!

That video is modern day art. What an incredible piece of internet content. And by the laws of the internet as laid out by Al Gore in 1990, I can now simply post that video on this blog and make it seem like it’s kind of my content but not really.
Honestly though, I’m not sure how long this took her to put together, but it was worth every second. One of the coolest hype videos I’ve ever seen.
And how about Whitney Mercilus returning to practice yesterday?! We knew a few weeks ago that they were likely to get Josh Myers, David Bakhtiari, Za’Darius and Jaire back. But I had kind of forgotten about Mercilus. Primarily because he only played in a few games before he got injured, secondarily because that injury was a freaking TORN BICEP and it only happened a few months ago. I figured there was no chance he’d be a factor come playoff time. But now it sounds like he’s even going to be available for the Divisional Round. The Packers have a whole army of Pro Bowl/All Pro players being added to the roster of a team that was already the best in the NFL. Great googily moogily.
Straight up picks for the weekend: Bengals over Raiders, Bills over Patriots, Bucs over Philly, Dallas over San Fran, Chiefs steamroll Big Ben, LA over Arizona.
ATS picks I like: Bills -4, Niners +3.5, Chiefs -12.5
PS: I know everyone was worried about the Packers not coming out sharp in the Divisional Round if they wouldn’t have played their starters last weekend, but I went back through the anals of Packer playoff history, and the Packers have been REALLY sharp when they get a bye week, historically. They are 6-1 all time in the Divisional Round when they have a 1st round bye. Now that loss is one that stings, the 2011 Divisional Round at Lambeau against the Giants. That was the year the Packers were 15-1 and were the prohibitive favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champions. But for whatever reason they came out in that game tripping all over themselves and blew a spectacular season. But overall, the Packers RARELY look bad after a playoff bye week.
Double PS: I know it’s ‘annals.’
