MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers hope to get more fans into the stands by the middle of next month. Brewers president Rick Schlesinger on Tuesday said the numbers for the first 16 games of the season show no large increase in the number of coronavirus positives at American Family Field or any Major League Baseball ballpark for that matter.
Schlesinger says the data shows they can safely welcome more people back, and that the goal remains returning to full capacity.
Schlesinger added that the state of California is fully reopening on June 15th, and he’s hopeful the city of Milwaukee will follow their lead.
