SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Although forecasters believe that we’re probably in for a rather low-key week – or more – of relatively calm weather, the first day of December does come with a reminder of things to come as, snow or no snow, Sheboygan’s Winter Parking Rules are now in place. The overnight regulations are meant to ensure that crews can clean up any snow and ice that accompany winter storms, and that means alternate one-side-only parking on city streets between midnight and 6 AM.
To make things easy, the SPD advises that you keep in mind a simple rule: Park for Tomorrow. So if tomorrow is an even-numbered day, park on the even – or north and west – sides of city streets. And if the next day is odd-numbered, then the east and south sides are for parking.
Those streets posted with “No Parking” restrictions stay that way, meaning no parking at all, and the regulations will remain in place through April 30th next year.
