TWO RIVERS, WI (WHBL) – The Sheboygan County Coast Guard was called to rescue 3 people in a boat that started taking on water just off of Two Rivers Tuesday afternoon.
\\r\\n
The Coast Guard station got the call around 6pm, and they were told the boat was about 2 miles from the shore. A 45 foot response boat and helicopter responded, and they were able to get the 3 people in the partially submerged boat to shore.
\\r\\n
The 3 on the boat were able to use their cell phones to call for help, and had flares to help crews locate them.
\\r\\n
The capsized boat was towed to Two Rivers. Nobody was hurt, and all three had life jackets on.
