So a question that I get asked a lot is, 'why are you the way that you are?' Generally the question is accompanied with a look of disgust from the person posing it.
Welp, the answer to that question is varied and probably best answered by my therapist (my dog Brewer), but ONE reason might be that my parents never took me to Disney World as a kid. Had I been allowed to traipse around the Magical Kingdom as a youth, perhaps I would have put more effort in at school. Maybe I would have been motivated to become a lawyer, or doctor, instead of an internet author who practices medicine on the side. It's possible that spending time with paroled criminals in mascot costumes would have led me down a path that didn't end with losing untold amounts of money gambling on sports. I'll grant you, it's a bit of a reach, but it's one theory*.
All of this to say: I had never heard of the 'iconic' Disney World Dole Whip until they released the recipe over the weekend. Apparently it's very simple; 1 cup of vanilla ice cream, two cups frozen pineapple, half a cup of pineapple juice, and 2-3 shots of Tito's vodka. Alright alright, I added one ingredient. The pineapple juice is optional.
Anyway, this does sound delightful, and because everyone's quarantine food pyramid right now consists of different levels of snacks, you can add this one to the 'ice cream/dairy' tier.
