I've never owned a Roomba for two reasons: 1) My dog needs 14-17 hours of sleep a day, and I'm not sure a robot vacuum wandering around the house is going to allow for that to keep happening. Anything less than 14 and he gets fussy. And, 2) I don't like any robot anything in my house that could/probably will become self-aware and kill me.
That said, I had never thought of Roomba Knife Jousting as a potential source of entertainment/gambling! It's like Mario Kart meets Robot Wars. There's a better video of a more professional setting on Facebook, but I watched it, then promptly closed the window and couldn't find it again. But the above video gives you a good idea of what we're dealing with.
Plus, if you just wanted to spice up your life in general, you could leave a dull knife on the Roomba at all times. It would make those late night trips the refrigerator that much more interesting!
PS: I saw this video a few years back as well:
Roombas: Buy them to make you feel like your house is cleaner, keep them for the death matches and drinking games!
Double PS: This feels like an appropriate Seinfeld reference:
