So I had somebody request this song on the morning show today, Blanco Brown's 'The Git Up.' I don't recall the exact phrasing on the text but it was something to the effect of 'hey jon, love the show, you're very funny and more handsome than you give yourself credit for, could you please play blanco brown for me because today is my friday.' Again, something like that, specifics aren't important.
That said, I had never heard of Blanco Brown, but once I googled his name and clicked on a random song, it was a song I HAD heard before. I'm sure some of you have seen people dancing to this song on different social media's like Twitter, Facebook, or TikTok which I'm not even sure what that is. But the dance is what I would describe as hip-hop line dancing. The dance is infectious, the song is contagious, this is a certified JAM. I can definitely see myself busting out some white boy dance moves to this at a wedding in the near future. 'Is that guy injured? Does he need medical help?' 'Nah that's just Jon dancing. And yes.' Giddy up!
PS: The girl in the second video's name is Lainey Wilson and because I'm a gentleman I won't say I need more of her in my life so this is me not saying that.
