GLENBEULAH, WI (WHBL) - Fire early Friday morning extensively damaged a home in the village of Glenbeulah. Glenbeulah Fire Chief Mike Mooney said a female occupant in the home in the 100 block of Main Street was awakened shortly after one this morning by smoke alarms. She got out safely. Firefighters from Glenbeulah and 7 other departments extinguished the fire. Mooney said fire damage was confined to the living room but there was smoke and heat damage to the kitchen and second floor. He said the home isn’t inhabitable at this time. The cause remains under investigation.
