UNDATED (WHBL) - Halloween is two weeks from today – and Wisconsin state parks plan to serve up a variety of tricks-and-treats. Kids can enter a costume contest at Heritage Hill State Park in Green Bay – where they’ll also have trick-or-treating and frightening stories to hear. Nature hikes are planned in the Northern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. A Halloween bonfire and treats are on the docket at Devils Lake State Park, along with a torch-lit hike. Mirror Lake State Park near Wisconsin Dells also has a candlelight hike planned, and pumpkin carving will be offered at the Point Beach State Forest. Most events are scheduled during the next two weekends. A complete list of events, dates, times, and places is available on the state D-N-R’s Web site, accessible at Wisconsin-Dot-Gov.
