WALDO, Wis.(WHBL) - A Waldo man with a history of making explosives is allegedly at it again. Captain Dave Adams, of the Sheriff’s Department, said the 38 year old man was arrested early Monday morning after deputies had been called to the home. on West 2nd Street in Waldo. to assist a female and felt that the suspect was manufacturing explosives. Adams said a quantity of chemicals was confiscated and the Milwaukee Bomb Squad was called in. He said some were disposed of and others were detonated at a county gravel pit Monday afternoon. The suspect, who had been convicted in 2008 for making his own nitroglycerin, is being held on a probation hold pending formal charges.
