SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man who attempted to rob a Sheboygan tavern last October has been sentenced to prison. Authorities said 43 year old Dennis Fischer was drinking in the Braveheart Pub on Calumet Drive last October when he threatened to kill one of the customers if the bartender didn’t turn over the money. She grabbed her cell and called 911 as Fischer fled. Police responded and arrested him in the area. Fischer appeared recently in Sheboygan County Court and was sentenced to a year and a half in prison to be followed by 30 months on extended supervision.
