SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A West Bend woman who was charged with stealing over $10,000 from Springleaf Financial Services of Sheboygan has been sentenced. 28 year old Maria Labarbera, former branch manager of Springleaf, was placed on probation for 3 years and ordered to repay $10,600. Authorities said Labarbera had used company checks to pay her own credit card bills over the course of several years. She had said she took the money because she was living beyond her means and that her mother kept asking her for money to fuel her gambling habit.
