EAU CLAIRE, WI (WTAQ) - An 18 year old Eau Claire man could get up to 26 years in prison when he is sentenced next April.
Tyler B. Scanlan is accused of choking his 15 year old girlfriend and using force to try to remove her from an Altoona home. He also almost hit a police officer as he tried to leave the scene.
Scanlan pleaded guilty in Eau Claire County Court Friday to 4 felony charges. He also pleaded no contest to felony strangulation and suffocation charges.
A witness reportedly pulled Scanlan off the girl while he was choking her.
