Upwards of a billion people will tune in to the Super Bowl this Sunday, and that number includes Young the Giant frontman Sameer Gadhia and Theory of a Deadman frontman Tyler Connolly .

As for who he thinks will triumph in this Sunday's game, Gadhia told Billboard.com that he isn’t a fan of either team that made it to the Super Bowl this year.  "I wanted the 49ers to go all the way, so I don't know if I even care,” said Gadhia.  “I feel like the Patriots have always been hanging out in there -- so maybe the Giants, why not?  Plus Eli Manning 's pretty old now."

Gadhia added that he is hoping there’ll be some controversy to Madonna ’s performance at halftime.  "For [Madonna's performance], I'm imagining a lot of things in my mind and they're all pretty good,” noted Gadhia.  “I think it should be fun.  I'm not looking forward to anything in particular -- I just want to see what she does to piss people off."

Connolly – who is also a 49ers fan – told the magazine that he’s also jumping on the Giants bandwagon. "I'm going to say the Giants [will win],” said the singer.  “I was hoping San Fran was going to get in, but I guess I'll go with the Giants.  I got a lot of people I know in New York so they're probably rooting for them."

As for the halftime show, Connolly believes that the producers of the show made a huge mistake booking Madonna.  “You need to think about who's actually watching the Super Bowl -- it's big dudes eating nachos and drinking beer,” explained the frontman.  “They really should put a band on that relates to them.  Madonna?  They're not going to watch Madonna.  They want to see Aerosmith .  They want to see Guns N' Roses or something.  That, to me, would be way more exciting for football."

The Super Bowl kicks off Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET live on NBC from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
