LANSING, Mich (WLMI) A former state senator will head to trial on charges he tried to lure children into sex acts.  63-year old Phillip Arthurhultz of Lansing is charged with trying to entice two girls—ages 14 and 12—to engage in sex acts.  Arthurhultz is also charged with two counts of accosting two 15-year old boys for immoral purposes.  The former senator represented Muskegon from 1979 to 1994—he also served on the Liquor Control Commission in the late 90’s.  He remains free on 150-thousand dollars bond.
