EAST TROY, Wis. (WTAQ) - Authorities say an East Troy man attempted to hire a hitman to kill a Walworth County prosecutor, a village employee, and a police officer. 51-year-old John Gorman has been charged with 3 counts of solicitation for homicide, and 3 counts of bail jumping. Officials said Gorman made the requests to an undercover officer who was posing as a hitman. Authorities were tipped off that Gorman wanted the 3 officials killed because they were involved in earlier cases against him. They included allegations that Gorman owned a number of weapons in violation of an earlier bond condition – and that he stalked a female East Troy village worker.
