Sheboygan, Wis.(WHBL) -  A Waldo woman who took a stolen handgun to Milwaukee to trade for drugs has been sentenced to prison.  23 year old Jamie Peterson was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.  She was sentenced recently in Sheboygan County Court to 3 years in the Taycheedah Women’s Prison to be followed by 5 years on extended supervision.  Peterson had obtained the Ruger from Kristen Scholler of Cedar Grove who had stolen the gun from her father last January to finance her drug habit.  She gave it to Peterson who took the $500 gun to Milwaukee and traded it for $200 worth of crack cocaine.  Scholler was charged with theft and her case is still pending.
