Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - A Cascade man who served as a lookout during a crime spree which began last October was sentenced Monday morning in Sheboygan County Court.  23 year old Tyler Diedrich was arrested late last year in connection with burglaries at bars and churches in Plymouth, Howards Grove, Sheboygan Falls, Cedar Grove and Random Lake.  In one of the break-ins, a safe containing $7500 in cash was taken.  During sentencing it was brought out that Diedrich never received any money, only an unlimited supply of drugs from his accomplice to satisfy Diedrich’s $300 a day drug habit.  Saying drugs are no excuse, Judge Terrence Bourke cited Diedrich’s extensive criminal record and ordered him to spend 6 years in prison to be followed by 5 years extended supervision.  That sentence will be tacked on to one Diedrich is already serving for burglaries in Washington County.
