A Lansing firefighter is recovering from injuries sustained in battling a weekend house fire. It happened late Saturday night at a home on the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Kalamazoo Street. About 30-firefighters responded to the blaze—one suffered minor injuries. No word on what sparked the fire, which caused extensive damage to the second story and attic.
