I was really surprised to get an advanced copy of this album 2 weeks early! Usually record labels only send the CD out the Friday before it's release date. I've since listened to it twice and think it's the band's best work to date.

Feeding the Wolves, the fourth studio effort by the Knoxville, Tennessee group 10 Years, and is their third major label release. It was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson and is being released Tuesday, August 31st.
In my honest opinion that this is one of most overlooked bands out there right now! Since first hearing "Wasteland" back in 2005 I've been a big fan and their stuff just gets better and better.
According to the group this is their heaviest material to date and I have to agree. There's maybe one really slow song on the CD but the rest are either mid or high tempo with a lot of in your face guitar and drums.
The first single is "Shoot It Out" which sets the pace for the rest of the disc.
Besides "Shoot It Out," another song that you'll really want to crank up is called "Dead in the Water." "Waking Up The Ghost" could be a huge hit for 10 Years if the record label decides to release it as a single and "Fade Into (The Ocean)" ends the album perfectly with the line "Is this the end, or just the beginning?"
Make sure you plan out where to buy Feeding The Wolves because depending on how and where you get it, the album may come with bonus tracks, including acoustic versions of songs and iTunes only tracks.
